The ship participated in Exercise Ferocious Falcon, a multinational crisis administration exercise, held at Doha, Qatar in November 2012. While transiting to the exercise, the frigate visited the port of Kochi, India. Through the voyage again to Australia in late August and early September, Vampire made port visits in Indonesia
